Simplesmente sumiu.

It seems like the instant video message feature (the option to send a video directly from the camera screen) was impacted by a recent WhatsApp or iOS update.

Here’s how to restore the feature, or at least troubleshoot:

  1. Check for WhatsApp Updates: Ensure you're on the latest version of WhatsApp. Sometimes, features are updated or fixed in new releases.
  2. Restart Your Phone: A simple restart might bring back features that have been temporarily removed due to updates.
  3. Check WhatsApp Settings: Go to Settings > Storage and Data in WhatsApp, and check if there’s any setting related to media or video recording.
  4. Reinstall WhatsApp: If the feature is still missing, try uninstalling and reinstalling WhatsApp. Make sure to backup your chats before doing so.
  5. Use the “Hold to Record”: If the instant video feature is unavailable, you can still record a video by holding down the camera icon to start recording, and then sending it.

Hopefully, one of these steps will bring the feature back!

WhatsApp's features and settings may have changed since then. If iPhone users are experiencing an issue where video messages have been removed or if there are changes to the app's features, it's recommended to check for updates on the App Store and ensure that you are using the latest version of WhatsApp.

Here are some general steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue:

  1. Update WhatsApp:Ensure that you have the latest version of WhatsApp installed on your iPhone. Open the App Store, go to the "Updates" tab, and check if there's an update available for WhatsApp. If yes, update the app.
  2. Restart the App:Sometimes, restarting the app can resolve temporary glitches. Close WhatsApp and reopen it.
  3. Restart Your iPhone:A simple restart of your iPhone can sometimes solve various issues. Turn off your iPhone, wait a few seconds, and then turn it back on.
  4. Check Settings within WhatsApp:Open WhatsApp and go to "Settings" (bottom right corner).
Navigate to "Account" and then "Privacy."
Check the settings related to media sharing and make sure they are configured appropriately.
  5. Contact WhatsApp Support:If the issue persists, you can contact WhatsApp support for assistance. They may provide guidance on any changes to features or settings.
  6. Check for In-App Announcements:Sometimes, app developers provide information or announcements within the app. Check for any in-app messages or announcements that may provide insights into changes or issues.
